My first professional work was as a news photographer, and I have been able to do that kind of assignment again, thanks to the Lake County Business Journal. My approach is really the same whether the assignment is a feature picture for a newspaper, or pictures for public relations or annual reports. The picture should tell a story, or have a little drama, or least have a very clear subject! For instance, the lady shown at right was cleaning the lamp at the Fairport Lighthouse, when I caught her face in the curved mirror. |
