We think of your wedding as an event for both of our families.  We will joyfully bring fine professional photography and complete coverage to this most important day. Your wishes will be our guide. We would truly be honored to be a part of your wedding, with the important job of preserving it with photographs.  See a portfolio of our work.

Our fee is $90.00 per hour (plus tax), with a two-hour minimum and no maximum.  We will plan our coverage with you, to fit your budget.  A small wedding with a reception right after, lasting about 2 hours, would cost $180 plus tax. 

As an example, a 14-hour, all-day event, would cost $1,260 plus tax. A deposit of 50% is due when we book the date, and the balance is due at the end of your reception.

ere’s what you get when we photograph your wedding:

  • Free engagement portrait of you and your fiancé at our studio, with a free 8x10 print and free prints and/or electronic files for news releases. 
  • A minimum of two photographers at your wedding.
     
  • State-of-the-art equipment consisting of Nikon high-resolution digital SLRs with backup flash units to reduce the chance of technical problems.
     
  • CDs or DVDs (or both) with all picture files and a copyright release so that you can get prints made anywhere.  Because we shoot in very large files, which are typically larger than 25 megabytes when opened, we will copy and resize the master files to make smaller files for prints and emailing.
  • We will bring at least one laptop computer and burn the original camera files to disks on the day of your wedding and give them to you or your family before we leave.  The finished disks, with corrected images, will be ready in two weeks or less.
     
  • We will meet with you and go over a list of possible pictures, to make sure we get everything you want.  We also take as many additional pictures as needed throughout the day.
     
  • We will set up a slide show on a computer or TV at the reception, showing pictures taken at your home, at the church, at the ceremony, and wherever we might go for outdoor group pictures.
  • We will travel anywhere you want for group pictures at no extra charge.
  • We can make all of your prints if you would like to have a traditional album. We will put you in contact with an album provider* or you can obtain an album from any other source you choose. We make archival quality pigment ink prints that are scientifically rated to last 100 to 200 years. Our print prices are: 4x6 - $7 ea., 5x7 - $9 ea, 8x10 - $12 ea.  Display prints for framing: 11x14 - $36, 12x16 - $48, 12x18 - $60.  Larger sizes will be made on commercial photo paper by an outside lab.  We will quote the most current prices for that service.
  • We do NOT try to "up-sell" you into buying prints and albums from us. You can take the final CD or DVD anywhere and have prints made without our involvement.  
  • A written service agreement which describes what we provide and what you can expect, based on our conversations with you.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness: Rick and Kathy recently finished long careers at the Lake County Red Cross, where he was the executive director for 31 years, and she was director of volunteers for 20 years. Our photography clients include some of the largest organizations in Lake County (see web site).  Rick is also a staff photographer for the Lake County Business Journal and has been honored with a Silver Apex Award by the Lake Communicators for his photography.  Rick’s first wedding photography assignment was in 1968 for Studio Boris in Chagrin Falls.
