There are several ways that you can preserve the images from your wedding on paper so they can be shared with others for generations to come.
Prints: We use a local professional lab to make highest quality prints on Kodak Endura photographic paper for rich colors and long life. Endura is available in lustre or metallic surfaces. Prices for lustre prints are: 4x6— $6.49, 5x7— $9.95; 8x10— $14.95. 11x14 lustre or metallic (mounted on double weight matte board)— $29.95; and 16x20 lustre or metallic (mounted on rigid gatorboard) — $49.95. Imprinted wallet prints for enclosure in thank you notes are available for $12 for a sheet of 8.
Kodak’s new metallic surface gives tremendous depth of color on a surface that is as smooth as chrome — best for 11x14 and larger display prints. 11x14 and larger lustre prints are sprayed with clear lacquer for added protection, which is not needed for the metallic surface. We carefully retouch, color balance, and crop each image before giving it to the lab, who in turn customizes the file for the best possible results on their equipment. The result is two levels of personal involvement — first from us as the creative photographers, and then from the lab staff, whose technical know-how produces the best possible print, one at a time.Prints in sizes 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 can be gifts to family and friends, and also form the basis for a slip-in style of traditional wedding album, described below. 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 (or larger) prints are used for decorating your home with truly unique and personal photographic art — images from your own wedding! Of course, all pictures can be done in black and white if you like the look of fine art images.
Flush Mount Albums: A flush mount album consists of images printed on photographic paper and then mounted on rigid stock and bound between hard covers. The pages are hinged to lie flat and the images go to the edge of the page. Album pages are thick, and this type of album is the most elegant and substantial available. Because of the very small gutter between each page, panoramic layouts can be designed to cover two pages. We offer 14x11 horizontal or 12x12 flush mount albums. Prices vary slightly depending on the number of pages (sides) our starting point is $572 plus tax which includes $377 for the finished album and $195 for design, retouching and image preparation, prints, on-line proofs, and frequent consultations with you throughout the project. Price is for 10 pages (20 sides). Additional pages (2 sides) are $28.00 each. The image files used in a flush mount album can also be used to make less expensive photo books for gifts to family and friends.
Photo Books: Hard-cover photo books are printed on heavy magazine stock and have the look and feel of a book you would find in a book store. We offer 14x11 (horizontal) or 12x12 photo books for $324 plus tax, which is $129 for the finished book and $195 for design, retouching and image preparation, on-line proofs, and frequent consultations with you throughout the project. Price is for 20 pages (40 sides). Additional pages (2 sides) are $12.00 each. Smaller versions (8x8 and 8.5 x11) can be ordered once the large size is ordered. The smaller versions cost $129 with no charge for design if ordered with the larger book or flush mount album.
Traditional Album: We can create a traditional 10x10 inch album that has slip-in clear plastic pages which hold 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 prints in mattes. Prices vary according to the number of prints, based on the print prices above. An album with 6 8x10s ($89.70), 8 5x7s ($79.60) and 12 4x6s ($77.88) would cost $247 for prints, $259 for the album, and $79 for design and consultation, for a total of $585 plus tax. Actual price will depend on the number of prints in the album. The number of pages does not affect price.
